"The California Historical Radio Society further asserts the importance of non-profit organizations cooperating to benefit the public interest, an aspect of such cooperation being proper credit to hard working volunteers who do the kind of demanding work that such transformations require."

What about the collectors and hobbyists who spend their own savings and use their own skills to preserve and research these recordings, and share them with others? That's not in the public interest? Those collectors and hobbyists are not hard working? I've been doing this for 40 years, without demanding attribution or credit, as do others. Enjoy the programs I find and the discs I buy, with the help of other like-minded radio enthusiasts, who then share them on this great resource of archive.org.
